What the Critics are Saying:
“[McAuliffe] is a rowdy presence onstage, delivering both physical comedy and wordplay. The script and performance create a hilarious show about circumstances and topics that don't tend to lend themselves to humor.”
~ All About Solo
“Measure for Measure was fodder for McAuliffe’s brilliant comedy performance!”
“Infusing her monologue with humor, wit, and charm, McAuliffe gave the characters a fresh perspective and made Shakespeare’s language more accessible and entertaining to a modern audience.”
~ Opening Night
"With wit, charm, and comedic timing throughout the performance, McAuliffe kept the audience entertained. Her body language, facial expressions, and sly comments were hilarious, keeping the audience laughing throughout a performance that earned her a well-earned extended ovation.”

About Me
Moira McAuliffe is a New York based actor and singer. Originally from New Jersey, she began singing in the church choir around the same time she learned how to speak in coherent sentences. She became involved with forensics public speaking in 5th grade and her love of performance and acting grew from there. In 6th grade, she auditioned for her first musical, and the rest is history!
After that, Moira became very involved in musical theatre, running herself ragged to cram as many musicals into a year as humanly possible, until she went to college for Drama and grad school for Classical Acting. These days, she flip- flops between the two genres seamlessly. Moira is an alumnus of Fordham University Lincoln Center with a BA in Theatre Performance and of the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) with an MA in Classical Theatre. In addition to private vocal training and improv classes at UCB, she has also attended the London Dramatic Academy and the Big Sky Theatre Workshop at the Warren Miller Performing Arts Center in Big Sky, Montana. Amidst all of the acting training, she also dabbled in neuroscience, pursuing her avid love of science and her dogged curiosity for the mysteries of the human brain.
Currently, Moira performs, and auditions continuously, while she is writing and devising her own work. She also works as a freelance theatrical carpenter in different theatres across New York City. She has quite a wide array of interests and skills, and in everything she does, she is known for her bold spirit and her tireless work ethic.
